On November 20, 2014 the first formal meeting of the Rebreather Training Council (RTC) was held in Las Vegas, USA.

The founding member organizations were:

ANDI           PADI

GUE            PSAI

IANTD         RAID

IART            SSI

NAUI           TDI

The RTC was formed to allow leading training agencies offering rebreather training to work together and exchange information.

 

The RTC published its first standard in August 2017.
