On November 7, 2024 there was a meeting of the Rebreather Training Council which included the election of a board of directors. The following officers were appointed and will be in position until end of 2026:

President — Mark Caney 

Vice President — Adam Wood 

Secretary — Ian Cope 

Treasurer — Chauncey Chapman 

The RTC is working on several initiatives with the intention of eventually publishing guidance on these subjects:

• Overhead Environments 
  • Rebreather Checklists 
  • Post Incident Analysis 
  • Streamlining protocols for manufacturers and training organisations when certifying instructors
